by Joshua Geronimo, III Reliability The advent of touch screen technology brought about endless possibilities to the gaming industry. While the market is dominated by consoles with internet connectivity that enhances the multiplayer options, nothing beats arcade gamin in actual interactivity. With touch screens finally arriving in the arcade scene, a revival of sorts is in the works and at the forefront of this new wave is Pentavision’s DJ Max Technika. The interactive 3.2 HD flat screen may be the machine’s main attraction but its equally impressive e sound system and accompanying lights are worth raving about Given their elaborate designs, the ID cards, which allow players to save their progress and compare them with the rest of the world via the Internet, are collectibles in their own right. Four color-coded game sets, categorized by difficulty level, an array of disc sets and the complex game mechanics may intimidate the casual gamer but an equally vast library of info and support readily available in the Internet resolves this setback. If sharing playlists with your friends or burning mix CDs is your thing, check this game to bring your wannabe DJ-ing skills to a different level.

Multi Theft Auto is an online multiplayer modification for the game Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and provides the best online GTA experience. Here, you can meet with other people from all parts of the world, do RolePlaying games, join clans, blow up stuff, shoot, drive, race people, and a whole lot more.
It also has a great and powerful user interface that any player could easily use. You can also create your own maps and ideas in their Map Editor. Map Editor has all the materials you need to construct your very own map. So if you happen to own a server, you can load it in and let your friends have fun in it.
MTA is an open source game. So it means that people can contribute their work to make the game better. People from all over the world make their share like game modes, modifications, maps, and scripts. If you have any trouble or support, you can go to their forums and they will be happy to service your needs.
But there are other multiplayer modifications to this game. Like San Andreas MultiPlayer or SAMP. But this version has the basic content unlike MTA.
As any normal newbie player, you might be wondering about the things they’re saying. Like for example, the abbreviation DM. Which means DeathMatching, which means killing someone for no reason. Most MTA players mainly do this in servers for their own amusement.
The Verdict: I think that this is an awesome game. You get to play with friends, hang out, blow stuff up, shoot virtual people, join clans and more. This is by far the best mod for GTA San Andreas. Compared to SAMP, MTA has a more better user interface in which players can easily use. And most of my clan members recommend it too because of its super easy to use interface. Plus, if you know how to script, you can create your very own game mode!
Write in a Filipino poetic form: tanaga or ambahan. What are they and how do they differ from each other? Read on.
Tanaga - a Filipino poem with 4 lines. each line should contain 7 syllables and follow a rhyme scheme
example:
“Katitibay ka Tulos
Sakaling datnang agos!
Ako’y mumunting lumot
sa iyo’y pupulupot.”
(from Wikipedia)
Ambahan - a poetic form of southern Mangyan origin with 7 syllables in a line. There is no limit as to how many lines each poem may contain but the endings of each line must rhyme
example:
1. Kawo di ngatay asan
2. Ti manlang sis abyagan
3. Pamidkan pag mayanyan
4. Patlay pag malagwinan
5. Inda di bay dilihan
6. Si man gis labag gus-an
7. Ud may ma-rumpa-uyan
8. Manangda di bubungan
9. Mangusdong di tagikan
translation:
So, you will be going now,
starting on a journey far!
Your eyes will enjoy the trip.
Many things you will behold
But I, who will stay behind,
here within this four-walled room,
what thoughts could I entertain?
just looking up at the roof,
just looking down at the floor!

You don’t have to write about traditional poetry topics like courtship, burials and rituals. The point of the exercise is familiarization with the forms and trying to make sense of lines that rhyme and that are, well, poetic. It would be nice of you write about something relevant these days like the elections, Ampatuan or even jejemons but feel free to talk about anything~ kahit kasing corny pa ng love yan.
Read poetry! We’ll be doing haiku, villanelle and sestina later.
And belated happy birthday to our May celebrators- Iya, Constant and Nads. Meron pa bang magbibirthday?
Tell us something about your name.
The following questions are aids to coming up with ideas on how to tackle the topic. You don’t need to cover everything posed by them:
a. What is the etymology of your name?
b. Who gave you your name?
c. Do you like your name? If yes, why? If not:
d. Have you ever thought about changing your name?
e. Do you have other names for yourself like codenames and stuff?
f. Do you believe that names have an influence in the personality of an individual?
g. If you have siblings, is there some sort of a pattern among your names?
h. If you’ve ever thought about getting married and/or having kids, what names are you going to give to your children?
If you have more “guide questions” your colleagues might find useful in today’s challenge, post them. Good luck.
You only have until Friday 12 Midnight to post your entries to qualify. If you still wish to do this after the deadline, okay lang.
After posting your work, check how the rest of the team tackled the challenge.
